ECO FRIENDLY HOLIDAY - SIMAN

Sustainable elegance for the season of giving; Because every detail counts — even the wrap.

Every year, sustainable product packaging is part of the conversation — but we rarely stop to consider the second layer of packaging that becomes especially important during the holidays: gift wrapping. For a leading department store like Siman, eco-friendly gift packaging is more than an accessory — it’s a chance to drive sales by creating a stronger sense of belonging and connection with customers. Through sustainable yet elegant holiday designs, wrapping becomes a brand touchpoint that celebrates the season while reinforcing loyalty and modern values.

How it started

It began with a simple observation: every December, waste piles up faster than the joy it was meant to carry. Holiday gift wrapping, beautiful as it is.

From that realization came a question: What if wrapping could still be beautiful, festive, and elegant — but also responsible? This idea became the foundation for our eco-friendly holiday gift packaging project. A solution designed not just to protect gifts, but to protect our future while driving sales and creating a deeper sense of belonging for customers who shop at Siman.

For Siman’s campaign, customers were invited to recycle paper waste in partnership with a local company. In return, they received a 10% discount and access to eco-friendly wrapping, joining the “Eco Club.” The initiative minimized waste while building customer loyalty and promoting sustainability as a shared holiday tradition while uplifting Siman's reputation.
